The 2nd generation Mazda6 replaced the first at the end of two thousand and seven years. The car has become even more sporty outside. The visually accurate side line of the body runs from the rear dimensions of the short stern to the large front wheel arches, enhancing the athletic composition of the new body. The front part with carnivorous narrow “eyes” of headlights and a pentagonal cut-out of radiator grills became very expressive. The front and rear windows with a large tilt added streamlining.
The Mazda6 has the lowest drag coefficient in its class, but, in addition, the lift coefficient is also small, so the car is very stable at high speeds. This was achieved thanks to innovative front deflectors and an elaborate underbody protection which, when working together, provide pressing force.
The “Six” of the second generation on the Russian market is offered in three types of bodies (sedan, hatchback and station wagon), with a choice of three engines (1, eight liters, 2, zero liters and 2, five liters), with an automatic or manual transmission in four trim levels: Base, Touring, Sport and Luxury. In the basic version, the hatchback has alloy wheels, a steering column with adjustable departure and tilt, electric windows and side mirrors, air conditioning, heated front seats and side mirrors, a central locking with remote control, an immobilizer, CD / MP3, four speakers. When choosing more expensive versions, in addition comes the CF-Net system, which allows you to control climate control, the audio system and the trip computer using the keys on the steering wheel, rain and light sensors, electric folding side mirrors. The top-end equipment is distinguished by the presence of parking sensors, burglar alarms, a Bose audio system with eight speakers and an adaptive head lighting system (AFS) that controls bi-xenon headlights. In two thousand and ten years, the generation went through restyling and a change in a number of trim levels, which became more: Direct, Touring, Touring Plus, Impulse Line, Sport.
