Isuzu VehiCross

Brand Isuzu – the main manufacturer of SUVs and trucks with a diesel engine

The Japanese company, as one of the world’s largest manufacturers of diesel engines, supplies engines for a number of car manufacturers of cars and trucks, without openly declaring this. In one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, Isuzu acted as a truck designer, now the brand represents a model range in the truck sector such as: Isuzu Elf, Forward and Giga, as well as in the SUV or Sports Utility Vehicles sector. An attempt to bring small-sized cars and middle-class cars, such as Isuzu Gemini or Isuzu Aska, in the passenger car segment to the world market, was realized in two thousand two years. A major shareholder such as General Motors preferred to turn to an experienced Japanese diesel engine manufacturer to support Isuzu in the production of trucks and SUVs. This strategy has survived after the release of General Motors from the concern and with the arrival of competitors Toyota and Mitsubishi.

Production of Isuzu cars in options: sedan, combi and coupe right up to two thousand two years

Isuzu developed its own lineup of sedan, combi and coupe cars even before it began to produce buses, heavy and light trucks. The first in-house development was the Isuzu Bellel car, in one thousand nine hundred and sixty-one years this model was introduced to the sales market. It was followed by Isuzu Florian, which was produced from one thousand nine hundred sixty seven to one thousand nine hundred eighty-three years and was simultaneously presented in sedan, combi versions, also Isuzu one hundred seventeen C and Isuzu Piazza in the coupe version. The model program was complemented by the compact Isuzu Gemini, which was produced from one thousand nine hundred seventy-four for two thousand a year, and the Isuzu Oasis minivan.
